Our Purpose:

Oceanside Valley Little League (OVLL) is a non-profit organization 501-C (3) that consists of approximately 300 players in the the Oceanside Valley area.  We provide a structured, accessible youth program determined to promote physical activity, emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship, foster a sense of community, and offer opportunities for volunteering and leadership development.  All board members, coaches, assistants, team moms, and snack shack workers volunteer many service hours to allow children 4 to 14 years of age to fall in love with America’s Pastime—the sport of baseball. 

Melba Bishop Park is our home field where games and practices are held throughout the spring and fall seasons.  We maintain these fields to provide a safe environment for our athletes to develop and our community to enjoy.  We have a very diverse community and encourage all to participate.  This includes a significant number of military families stationed at Camp Pendleton.

Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, OVLL assists our youth in developing qualities invaluable to our community—productive citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical wellbeing.  OVLL focuses on character, honor, courage, and commitment designed to develop, not just superior athletes, but well-mannered respectful citizens.  

We are looking for businesses to form working partnerships with to help us provide the best possible program for our youth.  The expenses of running a baseball league are insurmountable.  These costs include uniforms, umpires, field maintenance, lights, and equipment.  Your sponsorship will greatly benefit the youth and their families within our community and absolutely help offset the costly burden of league operations, ultimately creating the greatest baseball experience possible.

Registration for this upcoming season is now underway.  We anticipate having several hundred children from the Oceanside Valley area to participate in OVLL this coming season.  All our players, from the 4-year-olds playing T-Ball to the 14-year-olds playing Juniors, appreciate your support of OVLL.
